Advisers Learning Virtual Skills …Quickly

0
How well are you coping with the technology involved in attending, or hosting, virtual meetings with clients and/or colleagues?
  • I'm learning fast (33%)
  • Quite easily (30%)
  • It's not easy for me (20%)
  • What's wrong with the phone? (17%)

Our latest poll suggests advisers are no slouches when it comes to harnessing the technology they need to continue working in our newly virtual world.

As we go to press, nearly 60 percent, or six in 10, advisers were either “learning fast” (33 percent) or coping “quite easily” (26 percent) with harnessing their virtual communication technology.

For others, however, more established technology was still the way to go, with 21 percent opting for the “what is wrong with the phone” option, while nearly one in five (19 percent) admitted it was “not easy” for them.

As COVID-19 continues to spread its nasty tentacles, it seems virtual meetings will continue to play a big role in the lives of advisers and their clients, at least in the foreseeable future.

If you feel your virtual meeting skills could do with a brush up,  TAL Risk Academy has just announced a new webinar on how work with technology to provide virtual financial advice and Zurich recently launched its major new adviser education program: Zone.
