AMP Limited has announced that the sale of AMP Life to Resolution Life has received all regulatory approvals and, as the company flagged in February, it confirms it expects the transaction to complete after the market closes on 30 June 2020. (See: Separation of AMP Life Expected by June 30).
The AMP statement says it will provide an update to the market on 1 July 2020.
A separate statement from Resolution Life says that Reserve Bank of New Zealand approval of the sale of AMP Life to Resolution Life “…is the last regulatory approval required towards the closure of the acquisition of AMP Life”.
