AIA Australia has reviewed and updated a range of medical definitions across its CommInsure product range, including CommInsure’s older life insurance products.
The insurer has released a summary for advisers outlining the products which have had updated medical definitions applied to them, and which took effect from 23 August 2020:
CommInsure notes these definition updates don’t apply to claimable medical conditions the life insured may have first suffered from or been diagnosed with prior to 23 August 2020.
