NEOS has announced the appointment of Scott Moffitt as General Manager – New Partnerships. He was previously Head of Insurance at Colonial First State.
The insurer says that Moffitt has more than 30 years of financial service experience and prior to his role at Colonial First State he worked at BT for 10 years where he held various roles across product, marketing, strategy, and operations.
In 2017, Moffitt was named the FSC Industry Leader of the Year for his contribution to the industry, and to BT’s success.
The insurer has also appointed Kirshan Reddy as Chief Actuary.
The company says that Reddy is a qualified actuary with more than 17 years’ experience in life insurance. He has spent most of his career at South Africa’s largest life insurer, Sanlam, and was the Chief Actuary for its retail insurance business.
New Head of Claims
In addition to the executive team appointments, NEOS has also recently welcomed Alex Wagner as the Head of Claims for its NEOS PR1ORITY team.
Wagner has 25 years’ experience in life insurance and has worked at a range of insurers and re-insurers as a claims manager and claims technical specialist. NEOS says this appointment and the creation of this Head of Claims role, “…demonstrates the importance of claims to our business…”.
Phil Sandford has joined the company as Head of Finance, and Kathryn Cussell joins as Head of Implementation. Sandford has extensive experience in the wealth management industry and Cussell brings more than 25 years’ experience across various project related roles and was most recently Director of Business Operations at UnderwriteMe.
