In a move which is indicative of PPS Mutual’s expanding presence in the Australian market, the insurer has announced the appointment of Rory-John Jacobs as Senior Business Development Manager in Victoria.
A statement from the company says the role reports directly to Shadia Kouzma, State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania and is effective immediately.
Jacobs will be responsible for the management of key financial adviser relationships within the region.
Kouzma says that Jacobs’ experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers and key stakeholders in the Australian financial services industry will provide much value for PPS Mutual.
Jacobs joins the company with more than 10 years’ experience in financial services, nine of which were spent at AIA Australia in various client development roles.
Jacobs says he is looking forward to working with the PPS Mutual team to continue its growth trajectory in the Australian life insurance market.
PPS Mutual is owned by its Australian professional members who will share in the profits of the insurance that they buy.
