Zurich Life & Investments has announced the appointment of Ahmad Racheha as Head of Digital and Member Engagement, a newly created senior leadership position within the Group Insurance team.
Racheha will report to Darren Wickham, who leads the Group Insurance business.
A statement from the insurer says that before joining Zurich, Racheha was the Head of Digital at Aware Super, Australia’s second-largest super fund.
He has more than 20 years’ experience driving business innovation, leading digital transformations and managing online channels across a range of industries.
Wickham says Racheha’s experience in using technology to engage customers will help Zurich’s super fund partners to engage their own members.
“In a post stapling world, insurance remains one of the main reasons employees do not change fund, so ensuring that members understand and make informed choices about their insurance is more important than ever.”
