Adviser community, Ensombl (formerly XY Adviser), is gearing up for its first All Licensee Professional Development Day in 2023, scheduled for 26 May.
This hybrid event, designed for all advisers and their support colleagues, is offering 10 CPD hours, which equates to 25% of the annual minimum continuing professional development requirement.
The 26 May event, where the in-studio component will be delivered at Sydney’s Hyatt Regency Hotel, is expecting to top the record number of delegates who either attended in-person or participated via remote streaming in the two Ensombl (XY Adviser) PD days in 2022, the first of which – conducted in early June – was promoted as probably the largest of its kind to that point, only to be equalled or exceeded by its November 2022 event.
Both the 2022 events hosted around 1,500 attendees, while this month’s PD day is targeting a record 1,800 delegates.
According to Ensombl, the advice profession has entered a new era which sees a continuing adviser migration towards smaller and boutique licensees. It says this new era places a premium on professional development, sustainability, and efficiency. But it adds “…many smaller practices are finding these goals increasingly out of reach, as it becomes harder to access CPD in a way that is both affordable and makes efficient use of their time. The Ensombl All Licensee Professional Development Day was created to meet this challenge.”
