More AI on Radar for Many Advisers

1
Do you expect to build more AI technology into your advice practice operations over the course of 2025?
  • Yes (56%)
  • No (29%)
  • Not sure (16%)

Almost half of those who have so far taken part in our latest poll expect to introduce more AI technology into their practices this year. But just under four in ten have indicated this won’t happen in their practice, while around 15% are undecided.

This first poll for 2025 follows our report on top trends in life insurance, which includes an expectation of more growth in ‘intelligent’ technologies to help advisers assess clients’ needs (see: ‘Silver Economy’, Digital Natives Focus for 2025).

…[an expectation of] more use of AI technology among life insurers for life customer onboarding

The report also states its authors expect to see more use of AI technology among life insurers for life customer onboarding, automated risk assessments, and the use of third-party data for what it terms “…low-touch and enhanced customer experiences”.

We welcome any thoughts you may have on this issue as our poll remains open for another week…

  1. Ah, but will we be sourcing our AI assistance from the cheaper Chinese version, rather than the expensive versions from theTech Bros sitting at Donald Trump's feet
