Financial planning and client engagement firm AstuteWheel has launched Cognitive Style, a tool the company says can help advisers deliver financial advice that resonates with clients.
The firm’s MD Hans Egger says: “Cognitive Style helps financial advisers gain a clearer understanding of how clients think, process information, and make financial decisions.”
He says advisers can tailor the delivery of advice by knowing whether a client is analytical, sequential, interpersonal, or imaginative, “…ensuring financial advice is aligned with the way clients naturally interpret and respond to information”.
Egger says the system allows advisers to position exactly the same advice in two different ways “…to match how individual members of a couple think”.
He says Cognitive Style categorises clients based on their preferred way of processing information and helps ensure every conversation, statement of advice, and ongoing financial service is delivered in a way that engages and builds trust.
