A new category recognising excellence in risk advice has been added to the FAAA Awards for 2026, with nominations now open across seven categories.
The new FAAA Risk Adviser of the Year award, sponsored by Zurich, will recognise practitioner members who specialise in risk-related advice and have delivered best-practice outcomes for clients through their expertise in risk management strategies and products.
Also sponsored by Zurich is the FAAA Adviser of the Year award, which recognises advice practitioner and AFP members who have delivered superior client outcomes while demonstrating a commitment to professional development and higher industry standards.
Peer nominations for the awards opened 4 June and close Thursday 25 June, with individual submissions opening Thursday 2 July.
Nominees must be FAAA members and can apply in one category only. Finalists will be announced in September, with winners to be revealed at the FAAA Congress Gala Dinner on Thursday 26 November.
