Advice platform AZ NGA has announced a series of senior executive appointments across its people, finance, technology, and product functions.
Tanya Dawson has been appointed Chief People Officer on a permanent basis. She will report to the firm’s Group CEO, Paul Barrett.
Dawson joined the firm in November 2025 as Acting Chief People Officer and has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services and human resources, including senior roles at ClearView, Cuscal Payments, and Zurich.
Cormac Galvin has been appointed GM Finance and Transformation, reporting to CFO Jodie Blackledge. He was previously Head of Finance and Treasury at Cuscal Payments.
Shaun Nesbitt, formerly Chief Information and Digital Officer at Vital Business Partners, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. He will lead AZ NGA’s digital transformation, including advice systems, data analytics, and AI, and cyber security.
Sonya Choi La Rosa, formerly GM Technology and Operations at Diverger, has been appointed Head of Business Improvement. She will lead the group’s advice model office, including processes, common technology and integrated change capability, with a focus on operational improvement.
Neil Gellett, formerly Head of Managed Accounts and Alternatives at MLC, has been appointed Head of Product. He will be responsible for product strategy, product governance and oversight, and relationships with investment, life insurance, and platform partners.
Nesbitt, Choi La Rosa and Gellett will report to Nathan Jacobsen, AZ NGA’s recently appointed Chief Operating Officer.
