Australia’s life insurance community came together on Wednesday 10 June, at the 9th Annual ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards.
More than 300 professionals, industry leaders, sponsors, and partners celebrated as awards were presented for excellence in underwriting, claims, rehabilitation, product development, customer service, technology, and innovation.
Hosted by entertainer and MC Marney McQueen at the Sofitel Sydney, the evening “…was a true celebration of what makes this industry extraordinary – the people within it,” said ALUCA Chair Joanne Faglioni.
“We are building a stronger, more resilient profession, and nights like this remind us why that work matters so deeply.”
The evening also marked the final awards event for outgoing ALUCA CEO Amanda McKernan.
“It has been an honour and a privilege to serve ALUCA and this industry for the past ten years,” said McKernan.
“I leave with the deepest gratitude for the Board Chair and Directors, volunteers, sponsors, partners, members and team who have given me their trust and support.
“I will soon be taking up a leadership role in the brain cancer space.”
