News that NEOS has commenced the phased launch of a new platform that it says will enhance the processing of medical data across its product range attracted plenty of reader interest this week…

NEOS has launched UnderwriteMe’s Decision Studio to enhance the processing of medical data across its products.

The firm says the integration of Decision Studio improves accessibility to insurance by reducing turnaround times for customers and financial advisers. Applicants benefit, states the firm, from quicker and more accurate underwriting outcomes, while advisers experience smoother application processing and improved client experiences.

Adam Lister, Chief Operations Officer at NEOS, said: “We’re excited to launch this capability with our partner UnderwriteMe. It demonstrates another practical step in delivering on our commitment to make life easy for advisers and customers.”

…we see significant opportunity to further enhance efficiency…

Lister said that by improving the way NEOS captures and processes medical information, it expects to deliver “faster, simpler and more consistent experiences”.

“As we implement this in a phased manner across the NEOS Platform and each of our propositions, we see significant opportunity to further enhance efficiency, support better decision-making and ultimately make life insurance easy,” he said.
