Future2 Opens 2026 Make the Difference Grants Program

Financial services professionals can help community organisations access funding through the Future2 Foundation’s 2026 Make the Difference grants program.

The foundation is the charitable arm of Australia’s financial services profession, and unlike many grant programs, community organisations cannot apply for funding directly.

Instead, nominations must be submitted by professionals working in the financial services sector, giving risk advisers, accountants, mortgage brokers and other industry professionals the opportunity to nominate organisations they know are delivering positive outcomes in their communities.

Previous grants have supported a range of initiatives, including financial literacy programs for women escaping domestic and family violence, financial education for school-aged children, and programs assisting people experiencing homelessness.

Grants are available for programs aligned with four funding pillars:

  • Financial Wellbeing for Young Australians
  • Financial Wellbeing for Australians in Need
  • Financial Wellbeing for Women
  • Financial Wellbeing for Regional and Remote Communities

Since its establishment in 2007, Future2 has distributed more than $1.9m through 192 grants. Last year it awarded $197,000 to good causes.

Nominations close on 20 August 2026, with successful recipients to be announced later this year.
