ASIC Cancels CAIP Services AFS License

ASIC has cancelled the AFS licence of CAIP Services Pty Ltd after finding the company was no longer carrying on a financial services business. The cancellation took effect on 8 July 2026.

ASIC acted under section 915B(3)(a) of the Corporations Act 2001, which allows the regulator to suspend or cancel an AFS licence if a licence holder ceases to carry on a financial services business.

Records preserved by Archive.org indicate the company’s website has been offline since 2021. ASIC deregistered the company in 2022.

CAIP Services had held AFS Licence No. 432297 since 6 February 2013. The licence authorised the company to deal in and provide financial product advice on general insurance and life risk insurance products to retail and wholesale clients.

The company has the right to apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal for a review of ASIC’s decision.
