AIA Australia has announced to advisers it will be offering special underwriting concessions for ‘cleanskin’ policy applications between 19 September and 31 October 2011.
The insurer says that during this period, it is waiving the following tests, up to its new concessional Personal Medical Attendant Report (PMAR) limits:
- MBA 20
- HIV Test
- Hep B&C
- Medical examination
- ECG
AIA says this initiative, which will be applied to certain age bands and products, offers the following benefits for advisers and their clients:
- Fewer medical requirements for clients, saving the adviser’s time
- Faster underwriting decisions
- Higher completion rates
- Simpler application processing, less hassle and faster acceptance for clients
