Senior staffers at BT Financial Group and MLC have been recognised for their leadership at the annual Financial Services Council Life Insurance Awards held in Sydney.
The Awards, now in their fourth year, were presented at a black-tie function coinciding with the FSC’s annual Life Insurance Conference and were presented to individuals and organisations across five categories.
The winners were:
- Industry Leader Award: Scott Moffitt, Head of Life Operations, BT Financial Group
- Industry Mentor Award: Russell Hannah, General Manager Sales, Retail Advice at MLC
- Young Achiever Award: Kathleen Williams, Head of Retail Risk, Optimisation and Compliance at AIA
- Consumer Innovation Award: AIA “Vitality”
- Industry Research Award: BT Financial Group for the “Measuring Health Outcomes” submission
FSC Chief Executive, Sally Loane said the awards recognised the actions taken in the life insurance sector in the past year and were a fitting way to start the FSC’s Life Insurance Conference on 30 March.
“The life insurance industry is pressing ahead with vital and far-reaching consumer reforms amid a period of heightened public scrutiny. These awards highlight the considerable number of talented and dedicated people in the industry who are facing these challenges head on,” Loane said.
