MDRT Adviser Appointments

The Australian arm of the global MDRT organisation has confirmed its Victorian and NSW State Chairs for the next two years.

Melbourne adviser, Zac Drysdale, is stepping into the Victorian State Chair’s role, replacing previous incumbent, Paul Milbourne, who has taken over the reins as the organisation’s Australian Chair (see: MDRT Names New Australian Chair).

Current NSW State Chair, second-generation risk specialist adviser, Ben Johnson, is to continue in his role for another 12 months, while the organisation will shortly name a new Queensland State Chair to replace Brisbane adviser, Kris Chapman, who is stepping down following his two years in that role.

These appointments have been announced ahead of the upcoming 2026 MDRT Global Conference which is taking place from 23–26 August 2026 at Sydney’s International Convention Centre.

Unlike the North American MDRT Annual Meeting which is only open to qualifying MDRT members, this annual event, which will see thousands of advisers from around the world descend on Sydney, is open to both MDRT members and non-members (see our earlier report: International Thought Leaders Bound for MDRT Global Conference).

Registration for the conference remains open until capacity is reached. Click here for more information.
