Launch of LifeRisk Online

Plan For Life (PFL) has launched its long-awaited LifeRisk Online service for advisers.

LifeRisk Online is an internet-based insurance product research service that offers advisers two key elements:

  • Premium comparisons utilising the actual life company quotation systems
  • Product features research and ratings

PFL is introducing this new service following an extended pilot phase which has seen over 800 advisers representing 85 dealer groups utilising the pilot service so far this year.

Designed as an alternative risk products research solution for advisers, PFL’s offering differentiates itself from most other services in three main areas:

  1. The premium comparisons utilise the actual life company quotation systems rather than premium illustration software used by other providers
  2. The service operates independently of any client management or other financial planning software systems
  3. Pricing: PFL is offering advisers the choice between an unlimited access package and one that caters to those who will require the service to a more limited extent

The subscription service to LifeRisk Online is due to commence from 1 July 2009, with a free sixty-day trial being made available for advisers, paraplanners and dealer group staff wanting to test the service further before subscribing.

PFL is also offering discounts for individual advisers or for dealer groups who sign up to the service prior to 30 June 2009.
