risk store Forum for all Advisers

The Annual risk store Forum, being held later this month, will be presenting information of practical value to all financial advisers, whether they are risk specialists or holistic financial advisers.

The conveners of the Forum have said that registrations to date are indicating a very broad cross-section of advisers operating in the life risk area, either as a specialty or as part of their holistic planning, feel the need for new and quality education in this space.

risk store Managing Director, Sue Laing, said it was clear this year’s ‘Refining Your Craft’ Forum programme is addressing broad adviser concerns as well as a need for support in many areas such as:

  • Robust and client friendly SoA construction
  • The importance of maintaining thorough file notes
  • Quality replacement policy advice

Other topics being covered include:

  • Business Succession Planning
  • Claims Case Studies & Claims Management
  • Medical Sessions
  • How The Fee Model Can Work For Life Risk Advising
  • Personal, home and child care costs – what are they?
  • TPD & Psychiatric Illnesses

The risk store advises nominations also remain open for the 2010 Life Risk Champion Award, which recognises contributions from individuals who have championed the cause of the Australian life insurance industry over the last year.
