Asteron has announced the recent appointment of Katherine (Kate) Ashby as its Risk Product Research Manager.
Ms Ashby was recruited to Asteron from IRESS Wealth Management, where she was the firms’ Principal Research Analyst for its RiskResearcher risk products research software package. Prior to joining IRESS, Ms Ashby was a risk specialist financial adviser.
In welcoming Ms Ashby to Asteron, Executive Manager Life Risk Product, David Wright, said: “… Katherine brings to Asteron a thorough understanding of underwriting software, and the passion to engage advisers to ensure they are making the optimal use of these technologies to help grow their businesses.”
Ms Ashby’s appointment was effective from 9 March 2010, and she will work for Asteron from her Melbourne base.
