The Australian Million Dollar Round Table has announced Adelaide-based adviser, John Campbell will become the Associations new Australian Chairman.
Mr Campbell has been an adviser for 32 years and was a finalist in last year’s AFA Adviser of the Year Award.
He takes over from outgoing Chair, Stuart Farrell, who steps down on 1 September after two years at the helm of MDRT Australia.
At the end of his two-year tenure as its Australian Chairman, Mr Farrell aligned his Associations’ position on adviser remuneration with that of the AFA, which advocates that the client should have the power to decide how an adviser is paid.
… continuity of client service and advice is financial services’ greatest challenge
Mr Farrell added that continuity of client service and advice is financial services’ greatest challenge as many of the industry’s Baby Boomer advisers transition into retirement.
