TOWER Australia (TOWER) has entered the mobile communications technology arena with the launch of an insurance quotation solution for the iPhone and iPad.
Called Accelerated iQuote, the new service is described by TOWER as a cutting edge life insurance app that is intended to leverage ‘… the power of the mobile revolution that is transforming the way people do business and connect with other across the world today.’
TOWER’s CEO Australia Retail Life, Brett Clark said Accelerated iQuote opens up a whole new sales opportunity for risk advisers:
“With Accelerated iQuote, advisers can provide instant life insurance quotes across the entire award-winning Accelerated Protection product range right there in front of their customer on their iPhone or iPad tablet.”
“As iQuote is fully integrated, once the customer has agreed to proceed with the cover, the quote details are automatically uploaded onto our Accelerated Protection Online platform, ready for the adviser to submit the application to TOWER Australia,” added Mr Clark.
The launch of TOWER’s Accelerated iQuote closely follows the release last month by Zurich of a quotation application for the iPhone and iPad for its own risk products range (see Zurich Launches iPhone Quote App).
