MLC & NAB Wealth have announced the appointments of Duncan West, to the role of Executive General Manager, Insurance, and Chris Matlock, as MLC Advice Solutions State Manager for Vic/Tas.
Mr West joins the team on 1 March 2011, where he will be responsible for heading up the insurance business.
Most recently, Mr West was the Chief Executive of CGU Insurance, part of Insurance Australia Group. Mr West has also held executive roles with Promina Group Limited and Vero Insurance Limited.
“We have a significant insurance agenda as we continue to bring the Aviva and MLC insurance offerings together and Duncan’s depth of experience will be invaluable in driving this agenda forward,” said Steve Tucker, Group Executive of MLC & NAB Wealth.
“Duncan has a deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of insurance including risk pricing and underwriting, claims and distribution management,” Mr Tucker added.
MLC also announced the appointment of Chris Matlock as MLC Advice Solutions State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania.
Mr Matlock, who previously held the role of National Development Manager with AXA, will manage the practice development management team for the region.
