OnePath’s group risk e-application has reached a benchmark in cleanskin rates, according to the insurer.
The e-application, called RiskWorks, achieved a cleanskin rate of up to 61% in April.
Paul Trigg, OnePath’s Group Risk Market Manager attributed the rates to the fact that the e-application was designed specifically for the group insurance market.
“Unlike some e-apps on the market, RiskWorks has been engineered specifically for group risk insurance – taking into account the unique needs of this market.
“These cleanskin rates are testament to the success of this approach,” he added.
The system has both an online e-application and case management function. Group risk members can complete the application themselves, and accept the disclosure and declaration electronically, eliminating the need for a physical signature, the group said.
RiskWorks was first launched in April 2009. According to OnePath, the service has had a 40% take-up rate over the past twelve months.
