BT Scores Second Innovation Prize

BT Financial Group has won further recognition for its Key Person Income insurance, taking out the 2014 AFA/PFL Risk Product Innovation Award.

The Risk Product Innovation Award recognises initiatives which bring new ideas to the life insurance market.

BT’s Key Person Income product was also recently awarded five stars in CANSTAR’s Innovation Excellence Awards (click here for more).

Accepting the Award on behalf of the team, BT’s National Manager, Life Insurance Products, Scott Moffitt, said ‘unstoppable innovation’ was part of BT’s mission statement.

“I’m very proud to work for a company that is looking for opportunities to introduce more customers to the life insurance market, rather than simply taking from the existing share,” Mr Moffitt said.

The Award was presented as part of the Association of Financial Advisers and Plan For Life 2014 Life Company of the Year ceremony, held in Sydney on Wednesday 11 March. BT was also named as a finalist in the event’s overall prize, the Platinum Award, which went to TAL.
