Former Millennium3 Financial Service chief executive Richard Klipin has joined New Zealand based Sovereign Assurance Company Limited as Chief Distribution Officer.
Klipin, who is also a former chief executive of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), will start with Sovereign Assurance from 9 November with plans to relocate to Auckland at the start of 2016.
He said Sovereign Assurance was the largest life insurer in New Zealand holding 29 per cent of market share of in-force premiums and was part of ongoing market growth.
Klipin spent three years with Millennium 3, his most recent role, departing that group in September 2015 following a restructure of the business.
Prior to that he spent seven years with the AFA and has also held roles at ING.
