Rantall, who has been with the FPA for five years, will be replaced by FPA General Manager – Policy and Conduct, Dante de Gori, who will become the first chief executive appointed from within the FPA’s own ranks.

The announcement was made by FPA Board chair Neil Kendall during the opening of the FPA Congress in Brisbane this morning.

Rantall, who was the first FPA chief executive to hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, was given a Life Time Membership Award at the opening session.

Rantall, who did not address the Congress, but will be speaking at the closing plenary, will take on a non-executive director role with the FPA.
