Zurich, BT Make Strong Showing in Client Service Team Awards

Zurich and BT Financial Group have figured strongly in the riskinfo/Beddoes Institute Client Service Team awards with both groups either winning an award or being named as a finalist.

The three awards, now in their fourth year, cover underwriting, claims and business support services and are determined exclusively from adviser feedback collected from an extensive joint Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and riskinfo database, which is then analysed by the Beddoes Institute.

Of these awards, Zurich won the Underwriting and New Business Team of the Year; and the Business Support Services and BDM Team of the Year awards while BT Financial Group won the Claims Team of the Year award. The awards were presented at the Plan For Life/AFA Life Company of the Year Awards in Sydney last week.

Beddoes Institute, Director, Rebecca Sheils said the survey used with advisers was redesigned for this year’s awards and included input from 50 stakeholders at seven life companies to design the survey, which was then tested with advisers through Beddoe’s Most Trusted Adviser network.

Sheils stated the survey, which had a high response rate, would be used as part of a broader customer experience study covering advisers, policy holders and claimants experience so that life companies can get an integrated picture of their clients.
