ClearView has hired the former managing director of one of its advice businesses, Allison Dummett, to the newly created role of the head of strategic advice.
The listed financial services group owns two advice businesses – ClearView Financial Advice and Matrix Planning Solutions – with the latter co-founded by Dummett, who was also managing director from 1999 to 2007 and a director until 2013, prior to its acquisition by ClearView in 2014.
In the new role Dummett will work with the 223 advisers across the two businesses to refine their value proposition, price services accurately, and grow the profitability of their practices, and will report to Matrix Planning Solutions and ClearView Financial Advice, Chief Executive, Todd Kardash.
Dummett was previously employed by Count Financial for the past two years as a strategic project manager in the area of accountant licensing.
