Former AFA and M3 CEO, Richard Klipin – appointed to head NZ’s Financial Services Council

Former AFA and Millennium3 CEO, Richard Klipin, has just been announced as the new Chief Executive Officer for New Zealand’s Financial Services Council.

According to a release announcing his appointment, Klipin will commence with body from mid-November, having most recently worked as Chief Distribution Officer for NZ insurer, Sovereign.

The release notes that over the past 11 years, Klipin has served in a number of key industry roles leading transformation at a time of rapid regulatory change, including his tenure in Australia as CEO at the AFA and at Millennium3, prior to his move across the Tasman.

The New Zealand FSC represents fourteen firms, which account for the vast majority of the country’s wealth sector measured by market share.
