Zurich has announced it will be offering life insurance premium relief for its customers affected by the devastating Townsville floods.
In noting these floods have affected many people, bringing destruction and long lasting disruption to thousands of residents, Zurich’s Chief Distribution Officer, Life and Investments, Kristine Brooks said, “At times like this it’s crucial we band together and give help to those who need it most.”
Brooks added that in the same way as Zurich previously assisted drought-affected customers, “…we are now proud to extend our support to affected life insurance policyholders in Townsville and surrounding regions affected by flooding – offering two months’ premium relief across our life insurance range for these customers.”
For advisers with clients they think maybe affected, Zurich is encouraging them to take advantage of this two-month premium waiver offer by calling 131 551. Advisers can also contact their Zurich Risk BDM.
The insurer has indicated its offer will remain open until 30 April 2019.
