The four winners of the Association of Financial Adviser’s prestigious annul adviser awards suite have been announced.

The three other key winners – announced at a unifying industry awards event at the 2019 AFA Conference, were:
2019 AFA Excellence in Education Award – Ben Nash
Nash is the founder of advice business Pivot Wealth, whose focus is to help young professionals set up a clear and easy-to-follow game plan for their money.
2019 AFA Female Excellence in Advice Award – Dawn Thomas
Thomas is an adviser within the Perth-based Wealthwise network. Her Award, sponsored by TAL since 2011, recognises outstanding female leadership in financial advice and seeks to celebrate women who are making a significant contribution to their profession, their community and their client.
2019 AFA Rising Star – Chris Carlin
Carlin’s Award recognises the brightest new talent in advice and recognises newer advisers who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in advice.
He is a financial planner, mortgage broker and the founder of Master Your Money Now, a business he launched in Geelong in July 2018.
Natalie Jarvis, Head of Strategic Accounts and Sales Strategy at OnePath, said her company was proud to partner with the AFA to recognise new talent in advice via the Award since its inception in 2005.
