PPS Mutual Appointment

Specialist insurance company PPS Mutual has announced the appointment of Arthur Tang to the role of Senior Business Development Manager Queensland, reporting directly to Richard Hopwood, State Manager for Queensland.

PPS says in a statement that the role will start immediately and Tang will be charged with supporting both Hopwood and the PPS Mutual proposition amongst a select group of financial advisers in the Queensland region.

Arthur Tang, 18 years experience as a financial services professional.

He joins PPS Mutual with more than 18 years experience as a financial services professional, with 11 years  experience in business development roles specifically.

The insurer says that most recently Tang was the Practice Development Manager for Financial Wisdom and CFP-Pathways, where he was responsible for developing and implementing business plans for financial planning practices to increase sustainability, productivity and profitability.

Prior to this he has held a number of roles in business development and financial planning at Legacy Planning, Asteron Life and ANZ Financial Planning.

In welcoming Tang, Hopwood says the insurer’s goal is to continue to educate advisers on the benefits of the mutual model and “… provide a unique offering to professionals in the Australian market”.
