Andrew Kennedy.

Andrew Kennedy, Chief Advice Officer at Count Financial, says that the academy would provide long-lasting benefits to Count’s adviser network as well as their clients.

He says the company continually looks at new ways to enhance its licensee offer to its adviser network because it knows that investing in advisers’ professional development “…will lead to exceptional client outcomes”.

The company says the decision to launch the academy came off the back of recent research it conducted with its national network of accounting-led advice businesses, aimed at identifying key focus areas for future educational programs.

Michael Mulholland, MetLife’s Chief Distribution Officer, says the academy would serve as a powerful educational resource for Count’s advisers.

He adds that the company is “… passionate about helping advisers because we know the vital role they play in helping people move through life with financial confidence”.

The first academy session begins on 4 November.
