Latest weekly adviser movements saw a small net loss of advisers despite further good growth of new provisional advisers.
Wealth Data’s latest analysis shows that for a third week in a row there was solid growth in the number of new provisional advisers, at 13, bringing the total to 52 over three weeks (see: Provisional Adviser Numbers on the Rise).
However the research firm’s Colin Williams says the period saw a net loss of seven advisers (to a total 16,352 advisers) which indicates that a net 20 experienced advisers came off the ASIC FAR.

For the calendar year to date Wealth Data has the highlighted the growth and losses in adviser numbers in percentage terms focussing on licensee owners that currently have 50 or more advisers.
The growth data puts PSK out in front with 31.37% growth, followed by Count at 14.92%, Janus Financial at 11.69% and Spark at 11.29%. Only six licensee owners had growth of more than 10%.

As for losses for the same cohort, Bombora are down by 18.18%, closely followed by FSSSP (Aware Super) at 18.13% and the Financial Link Group down 16.00%. Three large groups make up the next three positions, Williams says.
