Zurich has announced a new partnership with the National Rugby League team Wests Tigers, including sponsorship of the new state-of-the art training and administrative facility – the ‘Zurich Centre’ – and the Wests Tigers women’s team.
Forming part of the new Concord Oval and community sports precinct, the Zurich Centre will feature administrative and training facilities including a pool, gym, wrestling room and a physiotherapy space.
Beginning in July 2023, Zurich’s logo will feature on the Wests Tigers NRLW players’ jerseys. Zurich adds in a statement that it will also support the club through a number of community activities focused on diversity and inclusion.
Partnership renewal
The insurer has also announced it has renewed its partnership with Australian mental health charity, Mr Perfect.
Linda Griffin, Head of Brand, Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Zurich Australia & New Zealand said: “Mr Perfect is effective because it creates a safe space for meaningful conversation between men.”

She continued, “We know that mental health conditions are on the rise, and that reluctance to seek help disproportionately affects men. A recent national study2 of mental health found that 18 percent of men suffered a 12-month mental disorder in 2020-21, yet only one in eight men saw a health professional for their mental health.”
