ABCN Appoints Brett Clark as Chair

Brett Clark, TAL Group CEO and Managing Director, has been appointed as the incoming Chair of the Australian Business Community Network.

Clark replaces replacing Tony Macvean, Managing Partner of Hall & Wilcox, who has served on the Board for 11 years, including the last six as Chair.

The network says Clark has been on the ABCN board since 2019 “…and has been a very strong contributor to the governance, leadership and strategy of the organisation.”

Clark thanked Macvean on behalf of the Board and the organisation for his significant contribution over the past 11 years.

He adds that through his time on the ABCN Board “…I have seen first-hand the incredible work ABCN delivers to mentor and support students from the broader community and lower socio-economic backgrounds, and I am humbled to be leading the network into the next phase of its development.”

New AIA Australia Partnership

Meanwhile AIA Australia has announced a new partnership with Badminton Victoria.

The insurer says it is coming onboard as official state partner which will involve naming rights to key competitions in Badminton Victoria’s yearly calendar, including AIA Vitality Junior Circuit and the AIA Vitality State Program.

AIA Chief Marketing and Shared Value Officer, Stephanie Phillips say the two organisations share a common passion for health and wellbeing.
