Senior appointments announced at Resolution Life drew much reader interest this week…
Resolution Life Australasia has appointed Dean Mulheron as Chief Product and Marketing Officer and well-known former Zurich executive, Nathan Taggart, who will lead the insurer’s marketing, partnerships, and retention functions.
Resolution Life says Mulheron’s role will see him continue its focus “…on ensuring our customers have access to modern and sustainable products, future growth opportunities and strengthening its partnership with financial advisers who play a vital role in helping our customers navigate their financial journey.”
Mulheron has been at Resolution Life since 2022, most recently responsible for product management and underwriting. He brings more than 15 years’ experience in the life insurance, reinsurance, and superannuation industry in Australia and overseas.
He will be supported by Taggart who joins from Zurich Australia, where he held various leadership roles including the Head of Strategy & Partnership Capability and formerly five years as Head of Sales for the Zurich and OnePath brands responsible for Zurich’s market engagement and growth.
Meanwhile, Lisa Hayes, who recently joined Resolution Life as Head of Governance and Company Secretary, has been appointed to the expanded position of General Counsel and Company Secretary, overseeing the Legal and Governance division.
Prior to joining Resolution Life, Hayes held leadership roles including General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer positions in the Financial Services and Life insurance industry sectors at Integrity Life, Centric Wealth and Perpetual Limited.
Both Mulheron and Hayes will join Resolution Life’s Executive Leadership team reporting to CEO Tim Tez who says these appointments will play an important part in the company’s ongoing customer service and retention focus, delivering valued customer offerings and ensuring it is well placed for future growth.
