MetLife Australia has expanded its MetLife Campus with the release of a series of new learning modules, focussing on technical competency and tax-related advice.

The insurer says MetLife Campus is its digital education hub to help financial advisers “…stay ahead of the curve and deliver tailored advice that meets the unique needs of each client, as well as enable advisers to meet their Continuing Professional Development requirements.”

It says the new MetLife Campus modules focus on technical competency and tax-related advice. Topics include:

  • Managing insurance costs during inflationary times
  • Exploring the taxation of life insurance for corporate, employer, superannuation and individual policies
  • A detailed walk-through of MetLife’s products, including MetLife Protect and MetLife Protect Super, to help advisers understand how these products can benefit their clients

MetLife Australia’s Head of Advice Strategy, Dr Jeffrey Scott, says the company knows the role of the financial adviser is more challenging and vital than ever.

“Our new learning modules are designed to not only enhance advisers’ technical expertise but also to deepen their understanding of the complex risks their clients face…”

The insurer says that as the financial landscape continues to evolve, ongoing education that is easy and accessible for advisers becomes increasingly important, noting the release of the modules brings its content to 48 hours, making it easier for advisers to meet the required 40 hours of annual professional development.
