UnderwriteMe, the insurtech company of Pacific Life Re, has appointed Andrew Doran as its new CEO, effective immediately. He replaces James Tait who left the business to pursue new opportunities.
Doran, who was previously Pacific Life Re’s Global Chief Underwriting officer, has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry including five years in Singapore. He will be returning to the UK in this new role.
Throughout his time at Pacific Life Re, he leveraged UnderwriteMe’s technology to develop an underwriting and claims solutions for clients. He has also been instrumental in leading the AI adoption in critical areas of the business.
