Zurich has named Morris Garsin as its new Head of Claims Excellence for Australia & New Zealand. He will be based in Sydney and join the firm in August 2025.
Garsin is currently working for Suncorp as its Head of Home Claims, specialising in complex natural hazards and vulnerable customers. He has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, including across life and general insurance.
At Zurich he will be responsible for driving the firm’s claims strategy and transformation, including the continued investment and implementation of technology to improve customer claims engagement and outcomes.
He will also play a role in accelerating the firm’s investment in claims technology, including AI, which the firm already uses.
