Acenda has announced the appointment of two BDMs, with one based in Melbourne and the other in Brisbane, to work with advice firms across the country that provide insurance advice.
Well-known industry contributor, Voula Makris, who has two decades of experience in business development and worked for AMP, Colonial First State and Commonwealth Bank, will be based in Melbourne.
Meanwhile, Reinaldo Giacometti, who has held senior positions with AIA and Bank of Queensland, will be based in Brisbane.
Michael Downey, GM Individual Distribution for Acenda, said: “With our focus on growth in the insurance retail advised market, we are expanding our team and are pleased to welcome both Voula and Reinaldo to Acenda in what is an exciting period for our business.”
Further appointments are expected soon, states the firm.
