PJ Byrne has rebranded his Mr. Insurance advice business to Navita, stating the new name reflects the firm’s evolution into a specialist life insurance advice practice.
He said the firm, which was started trading in 2007, will continue to work with businesses across Australia, “…particularly those with annual turnover of $1m or more”, with a focus on professional practices such as law and accounting firms.
Byrne said a significant proportion of the firm’s work now involves reviewing existing insurance rather than arranging new policies.
The firm’s work includes:

- Business succession planning
- Buy/sell insurance
- Key person protection and,
- Personal risk advice
Byrne said many of the businesses the firm advises invest between $20,000 and $100,000 annually in insurance premiums.
He said the business had also seen relationships extend across generations, with long-standing clients increasingly seeking advice for their adult children.
“We’ve transitioned all of our Mr. Insurance clients into Navita, where they’ll continue receiving the same advocacy, care and commitment we’ve built our reputation on,” said Byrne.
