High net wealth advice firms, McQueen Group and Tartakover Insurance Brokers, have joined forces.
The two established Melbourne-based firms merged their businesses effective from 1 August, and will operate from city offices located in Collins Street.
Founder and Executive Chairman of McQueen Group, Angus McQueen, said the joining of the two independent businesses would deliver new business opportunities, better back office economies in an evolving financial advice sector and would also offer a broader spectrum of specialist advice solutions to the two existing client groups, now located under the one roof.
McQueen, a highly-regarded wealth management advice expert, said “We add to each others’ strengths in life insurance and investment, the SMSF sector, mortgage lending , general insurance and taxation advice and services.”
Tartakover Insurance Brokers was founded as a specialist risk firm by current Principal, Harvey Tartakover, over 40 years ago, while the McQueen Group was initially formed in 1994. McQueen was most recently in the spotlight as one of the main platform presenters at the 2016 MDRT Annual Meeting in Vancouver in June.
