While nominations for the 2024 FAAA Awards have now closed, applications for the prestigious awards series remain open into next week.

The awards recognise financial advisers and advice businesses who deliver the highest standards of financial advice to their clients, while also serving the broader community.

The six categories for the 2024 awards are:

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional of the Year
  • Adviser of the Year (sponsored by Zurich)
  • Inspire Women – Excellence in Advice (sponsored by TAL)
  • Professional Practice of the Year (sponsored by Cbus Super)
  • Gen Next Rising Star of the Year
  • University Student of the Year (sponsored by UniSuper)

As we’ve previously reported, FAAA GM Membership, Tania Milnes, says that by supporting these awards, FAAA members can help celebrate the commitment, talent, and passion within the profession and share the good stories about financial advice.

Applications for the various awards must include specific examples that illustrate the applicant’s professional attributes and achievements, unique contributions, leadership qualities, and the positive impact they have had on their team, organisation, the profession or the community.

Advisers can click here to learn more details and to submit their application for their chosen award category, the winners of which will be announced at the Gala Dinner at the 2024 FAAA Congress in Brisbane on 28 November.

Applications for the 2024 awards close on 7th August, where this year’s winners will enter the FAAA Hall of Fame, joining the 2023 winners who were:
