OnePath has announced a partnership with Qantas that will see OnePath policy holders receive frequent flyer points when they pay their life insurance premiums.

The offer will allocate one Qantas Frequent Flyer point per dollar of premium paid on eligible OnePath life insurance policies, with an annual cap of 20,000 points per policy on OneCare, OneCare Super and World of Protection policies.

Customers of OnePath’s online EasyProtect range and other direct life insurance products are also eligible to participate in this offer.

… the program allows customers to get more benefits from their life insurance

Commenting on the launch of this value-added initiative General Manager of OnePath’s insurance division, Gavin Pearce, said adopting the program allows customers to get more benefits from their life insurance:

“Often people take up or renew their life insurance without seeing any tangible benefits. This program allows our customers to earn points when they pay their premiums”, said Mr Pearce, who noted the program is a reward for OnePath’s customers’ loyalty.

The program is open to new and existing policy holders, who will need to register their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details with OnePath to start earning points.

For new customers, OnePath advises there will be a new input field in its life insurance application forms and online software that will allow existing Qantas Frequent Flyer members to register their membership details when they apply for their new policy.
