CommInsure to ‘Set the Record Straight’ on Insurance

CommInsure is set to host a series of adviser events around the country intended to ‘expose the truth’ on Australia’s life insurance industry.

Based on an entertaining and informative theme of a current affairs program, with advisers making up the studio audience, CommInsure promises to reveal how advisers can drive their businesses forward in the next decade.

The ‘show’ will be hosted by TV and radio personality, Peter Thompson, with segments including:

  • Post GFC – be more in tune with consumer behaviour and attitudinal change on insurance and advice
  • How to build a more sustainable risk practice to grow profit
  • Financial Ombudsman Service mock trial demonstration on how to better structure your risk advice process
  • Triathlete to quadriplegic and back again – an inspirational new claimant story

In a pointed reference to the lack of positive coverage of the life insurance industry by the mainstream media, CommInsure’s Head of Adviser Distribution, Todd Kardash, said:

This will be a thought provoking and challenging session that sets the record straight on the insurance industry…

“This will be a thought provoking and challenging session that sets the record straight on the insurance industry and tells all the positive stories about the good the industry does for people in times of emotional crisis – the side which the current affairs programs and consumer press never seem to show.”

The program will be presented during March in all mainland capital cities.  Advisers, paraplanners and others interested to attend can access more details at: www.comminsureevents.com.au.
