AIA Australia (AIA) has released details of key state and national appointments made over recent months.
Headlining the appointments is Tim Tez, who has been appointed to lead the insurer’s retail and direct product functions.
Mr Tez has been recruited to AIA from AXA Australia, where he was the company’s Senior Product Manager. Prior to joining AXA, Mr Tez held senior product management roles with TOWER Australia, PrefSure and Lumley Life.
Other appointments include:
- David Tilley– formerly State Manager for AIA’s New South Wales’ operations for six years, Mr Tilley has been appointed the insurer’s National Dealergroup Manager.
- Vicki Writer– State Manager, NSW/ACT (replacing Mr Tilley). Ms Writer joins AIA from Aviva, where she held the role of Senior Business Development Manager.
- Dean Carey – will assume national responsibility for managing AIA’s AXA and AFS dealer group relationships in addition to his current role of State Manager, Victoria and Tasmania.
- Karen Janes– announced as Head of the AIA Adviser Contact Team. Ms Janes was previously Underwriting Manager – Retail.
