MLC Online Service Upgrade

    MLC has released a new version of its Group Insurance online management tools, its second major upgrade in the last few years.

    Intended to provide advisers, scheme administrators and plan members with faster service and easy access to all policy information, the updated system offers:

    • A new secure document upload system that directs transaction information straight into MLC Group Insurance’s workflow systems
    • Direct access to scanned policy documentation and more detailed underwriting and claims case information
    • The ability to filter information to display specific underwriting or claims cases and sort based on the status of work, which in turn can be downloaded into formatted or editable reports

    Andrew Howard, General Manager – MLC Group Insurance said: “Our improved online functionality sets a new industry benchmark for accessing and managing a rich set of policy transaction information that updates in ‘real time’.”

    Mr Howard told riskinfo that in addition to the aim of faster service and easier access, the associated goal was also to develop an enhanced online system that made it easier for advisers and scheme administrators to stay in touch with, and work with, the member or end-user of the service.
